30 Days 30 Workouts: LA Dance Fit

#3  – LA Dance Fit

It has come to my attention that I am not Wonder Woman.   First off, I don’t fit the costume.  Truth be told, I am realizing that working out every day is very difficult for a chubby 30 something.  It’s a challenge to make time for your self and it’s a challenge finding something you love to do.  I actually found a class I love at LA Dance Fit.

I took a class called “Rockin’ the House” with Amy.  This class is a dance party.  Amy’s playlist includes everything from the “Beastie Boys” to the “Scissor Sisters.”  There’s a lot of bootie shaking and jumping around.  You don’t even need to know your left foot from your right to follow along and have fun in this class.

This studio offers a wide range of follow along classes as well as choreographed dance classes.  This is great for the girl just starting to workout as well as the advanced fitness maven.  I guess the only problem with this studio is that it is located in Century City.  However, they do have a free parking lot in the back.  And the first class is free.
