I had the honor of sitting on a SAG Foundation LifeRaft panel this past Thursday night with Mark Gantt, Yuri Baranovsky, Machinima’s Ian Moffitt and Zadi Diaz who was the moderator. This was a true privilege for me because these are people who I’ve learned a great deal from over the years, and who have been at the forefront of web video since scripted web content started to been seen as a viable vehicle for storytelling.
Previously on this blog as well as other sites, I’ve shared my favorite resources for those of you who are new to the digital space in my “New Media Resource List,” and I wanted to let you all know that that list has been added to “Helenna’s Resources” on my personal site along with a number of new links and information. That’s where I’ll be updating my resources for anyone who is new to the digital space, marketing themselves and/or their projects, etc… You can find it at: http://www.helennasantoslevy.com/helennas-resources.html. There are links to both Mark Gantt and Yuri Baranovsky’s blogs, which are must reads for anyone interested in entering the web world.

Many thanks to the SAG Foundation for a wonderful evening! Also many thanks to Joan Pastor. This event was put on through a new fund titled the “Beki Pastor Fund” and Joan who is Beki’s sister, has started the fund in her memory. Thank you Joan for helping keep these very important panels alive and flourishing!
If you missed the panel you can check it out here:
