Bodine Boling is a Brooklyn-based writer, filmmaker and voiceover artist. She wrote, produced, starred in and edited the casual science fiction feature MOVEMENT AND LOCATION. Festival highlights include Brooklyn Film Festival (Audience Award, Best Screenplay, Best Original Score), Indie Memphis Film Festival (Excellence in Filmmaking Award and Best Poster), Rome International Film Festival (Audience Award and Best Narrative Feature), and Alhambra Theatre Film Festival (Best Actress). She’s voiced hundreds of advertisements for Pandora radio and four novel audiobooks. Favorite projects as a video editor include work for the social service agency Urban Pathways, the documentary feature SONATA 1957 and the music video for Vampire Weekend’s Mansard Roof.

I made a science fiction feature called MOVEMENT AND LOCATION and the whole process has been an endless parade of humbling lessons. The title, for instance, is impossible for people to remember. People forget it while I’m still saying it, I watch it go in and right out. It’s the name of a Punch Brothers song that I listened to a lot while writing, which tonally matched how I wanted my film to feel. The phrase felt relatable to time travel and evocative in its own way.…
