    About Deb Smith

    Jennifer Fischer is a writer, producer and teaching artist as well as the co-founder of Think Ten Media Group. Her multi-award winning feature film, "Smuggled,” saw her tackling distribution, successfully securing theatrical screening events at universities, colleges and community organizations throughout the United States and abroad. Her short film series, THE wHOLE explored solitary confinement and mass incarceration in the U.S. and premiered at Amnesty International's 50th Anniversary Human Rights Conference in New York City. Fischer ran a film festival for 7 years when she first moved to California. She curates various films for the City of Santa Clarita's 10x10 event as well as organizing and moderating panels for various film events. She is currently writing and producing an interactive experience entitled, THE LEECHES.14 Articles

    Host/Actor/Producer/Writer – Aubrey is a NSI Totally TV alum and a Bell Media Fellowship recipient. She started in the film industry as an actress, appearing on Smallville and Supernatural to name a few. She has since gone on to host/produce the Leo award winning TV series The Wedding Belles airing on Shaw Media channels since 2010. In 2013 she produced/hosted Shaw’s AMPIA award winning The Proposal. The co-creator of Kits, a scripted half hour series, she produced the pilot episode for City TV followed by another City TV pilot entitled The Range. The Range was top 3 at the Banff International Pilot competition and is based on her family’s experience of life after the NHL. Aubrey host numerous local live events most recently the Leo awards celebration.     Actress/Waitress/Writer/Comedienne - Marilyn Anne Michaels is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the WGA. She trained at the Second City Chicago Conservatory Training Center and did tons of theatre before moving to Los Angeles in 2006.     Always up for an adventure- Sarah has crossed the breathtaking Namib Desert on horseback, done a grueling century bike race around Lake Tahoe and run the inspiring NYC Marathon. As an actress she has witnessed crimes twice on Law and Order, had sidesplitting recurring roles on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and enjoyed numerous jam-packed days on the festival circuit with such films as Blue Road, Zooey and The Date. She’s devoured Japan and Europe with avant-garde luminary Richard Foreman and collaborated with the provocative artist Julia Mandle. She has produced two award winning short films. Her latest, Nothing Happened, has screened at over 30 film festivals including; Cinequest, Berkshires, Bend, Woodstock, Edmonton, Outfest and BFI London.     Catherine has been an actor and acting coach in Los Angeles for over 10 years after graduating from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Acting and a BA in Political Science. She has guest-starred in television shows from “That 70s Show” to “All My Children” (now that’s range), as well as “90210”, “Franklin & Bash” and “NCIS”. Film roles include turns in the indie dramas “The Things We Carry” and “Brahmin Bulls” and appearances in “A Good Day to Die Hard”, “R.I.P.D.” and most recently “Devils Due”. One of her favorite roles was playing a secret government agent in Machinima’s first original web-series “RCVR”. You may have also caught her during commercial breaks in one of her dozens of national commercials including her recent campaign as the spokesperson for Xerox.     Lindsay's mission in life is to set an example for everyone to believe in themselves and live the life they’ve always imagined! She believes that everyone deserves to be extremely happy, no matter what anyone else says! Shortly after moving to Los Angeles from New York for the SUNSHINE, Lindsay fell in love with the entertainment industry and worked in the Adult Commercial Department at The Osbrink Agency until she was recently scooped up by FORD Models to be an Agent at their office in Los Angeles. At FORD she is able to contribute more of her expertise in fashion, which she LOVES. With a Bachelors Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, putting people into advertising is a natural fit. Above and beyond submitting/pitching client’s everyday she helps style test shoots, gives personal wardrobe advice and thrives on bringing positivity into any aspect she can.     After four years of service in the Marine Corps, where she booked her first acting job in a commercial, Kat Castaneda moved to NYC in pursuit of an acting career. She booked a few roles, garnered her first lead in a feature, and obtained her SAG card before moving to Los Angeles. Since in LA, Kat has discovered her true calling in creating content. Her talents as a fiction writer helped her transition into screenwriting, having two works produced in two years. She has just completed her first feature script, which, thus far, garnered her a spot in HBO/Nalip’s Latino Writing Lab earlier this year. A true creative spirit, she also started directing, completing her first film, “Regret”, and writing and directing the Indiegogo video for the web series, “Newlywed and Broke” she is currently creating with her Fiance.     Sophie Webb is a filmmaker and performer from Sydney, Australia. She is passionate about microbudget filmmaking for its ability to open up the medium to a more diverse range of artists and storytellers. She now lives in LA and has directed several short films, music videos and most recently a microbudget feature. She is a proud member of Women In Film Los Angeles and her ultimate goal is to be a part of changing the way women and minorities are portrayed in mainstream media. She has served as the outside counsel and in legal and business affairs for several media companies and start ups, including MavTV, Channel Factory, Prescience, and Lightning Entertainment. She works with a wide range of clients including digital media companies, new business start-ups, production companies, movie studios, television networks, investors, and talent. She is well-known for her superior negotiating and drafting skills in development, production, distribution, licensing, and acquisition of entertainment content in animated, scripted and unscripted television, and motion picture content.
