Mz. Eyebrows! How do I help stop my makeup from melting down in the summer time? I’m trying to pair down for the heat!
What products should I ditch and which one should I kling to?
Hey there hot and frustrated!
I bet that you are completely frustrated with makeup meltdown, warm temps, sweating through your foundation and oily skin!
Makes you kinda want to cringe at the thought of a non-summer friendly full face of makeup! YUck right?? Well no sweat, literally. The summer is meant for relaxation, vacations and lighting up your makeup load. Boy have I got some RAD recommendations for you!
Mz. Eyebrows wants you to take a good hard look at your complexion and what you’ve been used to doing. OK. Time to EDIT.
Are you willing to give up foundation for the summer? If the answer is yes, great! If you are like Mz. Eyebrows, going THAT NAKED isn’t an option!! haha. We are all creatures of habit, and I get it. Really I do. I like a tint or a BB cream in the summer. If you can pair down to that, I will be oh so proud of you! I DO have a suggestion that will dramatically change the grease factor that comes from many of these great natural looking products.
Face to Face Super Matte Anti Shine by Make-up International. It’s a mattifier, kinda like a deodorant for your face!
Apply with your fingers underneath your tints and BBs. It runs $28 bucks and I get mine from www.alconeco.com.
Ok, so ditching heavy eyeliners, extra high-arched sculpted eyebrows, and lipliner, matte lipsticks with gloss isn’t so easy… Especially if its part of your normal look.
But really, please try. If Mz. Eyebrows can do it, honey so can you. Besides, I said nothing about ditching MASCARA. 🙂
Well now that I’ve said that, lets finish you off with a little pop of color.
A one stop shop, my fav is Stila Convertable color. Balmy, summer color skin begins with these lil babies!
They are for your lips AND cheeks, fingers are all you need for application.
