Lauren is a Los Angeles-based director of photography with a passion for education and social justice issues. After graduating from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Lauren briefly taught 16mm film production at the Colorado Film School and was the main instructor at the Binning Family Foundation Film School– a non-profit aimed at teaching alternative-learning students valuable life skills through storytelling and film. Alongside writing about diversity in film and entertainment, Lauren is a team member of the popular digital studio RocketJump, and is currently spearheading their newest venture, the RocketJump Film School.
