Her underground comic book, Chilltown (Xeric Award winner for Best Indy Book), has been featured in The Source, Spin & Vibe Magazines as well as numerous national newspapers and radio. Primarily a writer, she has sold a number of television scripts—including ones to HBO producers Two Oceans Entertainment and BET—but was always "in development." Frustrated, she taught herself how to animate five years ago and, solo guerilla-style, completed three full series: Chilltown, The Danger Squad (debuting 2014) and Lele's Ratchet Advice Show. Since launching, Chilltown has been named one of “Five Web Series That Should Be on Your Radar” by ABCNews/Univision and a “Show to Watch” by Tubefilter. The Lele character (whom she writes and voices) does the weekly 60 Second Wrap Up, a comedic entertainment report, on urban radio station Rhythm 105.9fm.

About Jen Levin
Actress/Blogger - I’m originally from the Bay Area, but I’ve been in LA for over a decade now, so I consider myself a native. I’m working as both a blogger and actress (with a couple of day jobs to pay the bills on the side). I love being in the entertainment industry where every day is an adventure! When I’m not working on my career, I’m either reading (I’m a total book nerd) or enjoying my newfound love for spin class (which is helping towards my goal of losing 100 pounds for the last time). I like to joke that I’m a girl with Southern charm and Jersey moxie, which I think has worked well for me so far!
