These personal Product Recommendations are all about what I like to use to pump up the Volume before a Blow Out!
While we (yes, me included) all desire to have our hairstylist fairy appear at our side daily to create the seamlessly effortless Higher than Heaven Volume, I understand that some current realities don’t allow for such housecalls (yet). I am available should that ever change of course, *wink* but for now, let me answer one of the most common questions I get while I’m behind the chair.
“What Products should I be using to create More Volume?”
Short of teasing and backcombing, which can create not only an unsightly nest of hair if not done properly, but can also break the hair! No. 4 Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner
This product is in my shower right now and I must say that I am FULLy Impressed. Without any fillers in this product I was skeptical, but upon blow drying, I immediately felt and saw the difference in my hair shape. It gently cleanses and purifies while enhancing hair volume and lift.

Oribe Dry Texture
HANDS DOWN, my favorite playful product to have on set, or anywhere really. And with a smart travel size available, I take full advantage. And If you want bigger, glamorous hair you should as well. This invisible dry spray builds in incredible volume, making it perfect for creating texture as well as movement. So go ahead and work it in those roots for some instant model tossed hair. Patented polymers absorb oil at the roots, leaving you with just-styled hair for days (and nights).

Kerastase Resistance Mousse Volumactive
Do Not be Afraid of Mousse Any Longer! This is a great weightless volumizing mousse for fine hair, but also adds lift for thick hair.
I like a mousse that can offer hold, but if you are anything like me you tend to hope for the best when testing out new brands. Sometimes once you work it through your hands or hair, you begin to cringe at the realization that you just put an incredibly sticky product in your hair when all you desired was some lift. Ugh.
Worry about the substance in the palm of your hand no longer. This product isn’t going to surprise you with a web to unravel, but with the right amount (tangerine size should do), it will offer your locks some of the softness you crave when blow drying your hair to it’s “FULL” potential.

Oscar Blandi Hair Lift- Instant Thickening & Strengthening Serum
Serums are great for adding lustre to limp, fine hair but can often weigh hair down and be a counterproductive tool for those seeking to keep up the bounce in a volumized style. I found that this particular serum to be lightweight enough to use as a finishing product to polish any worked on hairdo, but works fantastic as a base product as well fresh out of the shower, before blowdrying as it not only expands the hair shaft, but offers the shine most desire to keep hair looking not only full, but healthy too.

Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Harder Firm Volumizing Hairspray
Hold on to this one tightly my friends, because I highly recommend this Hairspray for those with fine hair or those who cannot afford to have their hairstyle weighed down by a finishing product. This firm, yet volumizing hairspray gives unbelievable lift and hold. And better still is that it’s extra strength won’t diminish under humidity. I think we should tell summer we are ready now!
