Welcome Back!

Did you miss us? We sure missed you!

As you may or may not know, Ms. In The Biz has been on hiatus from publishing new content for a year and a bit, but we are back in action!  The writing team is very excited to be returning, especially because a lot has happened socially and politically since we took a break, and this feels like a great time to be back.

All of the women who write for this site and who are part of this community have a great deal of knowledge and a love for sharing their experiences.  As the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of this site, I feel fantastic about bringing fresh, new content to you all after such a tumultuous year in our industry.  There has never been a better time for women’s voices to be uplifted and heard, and for women and men to come together to forge ahead and embrace change, creating a new inclusive and powerful industry.

Now going into its fifth year online, Ms. In The Biz has reached nearly half a million readers all over the globe with almost 1900 articles written by 300+ female writers.  We’ve hosted awesome in person events, meetups, and panels, and even published a book in 2014 with a revised version on its way to you soon!  The community we’ve built is strong and hungry to share knowledge, collaborate with one another, and truly thrive.

As I write this I’m actually sitting on my porch in British Columbia, Canada.  I started Ms. In The Biz from a tiny condo in Los Angeles in 2012 and am currently based just outside of Vancouver, B.C. Canada.  While I may not be physically in the center of the entertainment capital, I have never felt more connected to this community, or more confident about all of the possibilities ahead for the site and for the industry as a whole.  More on all that in my articles to come, but for now… welcome back!

THANK YOU for coming along on this adventure with all of the Ms.-es here at Ms. In The Biz.  We love you and can’t wait to bring you along on our journeys!
