    About Deb Smith

    Though originally from Colorado, Reem spent much of her life living around the world in places including: the Kingdom of Bahrain, Spain, New York City, and has travelled to many more. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue a career in film, she's worked in the marketing/publicity departments of studios including: Paramount Pictures, the Walt Disney Studios, and now STX Entertainment: the first large-scale motion picture studio to open in Hollywood in over 22 years. Her second passion however lies is in film production, where she's worked on projects shot in virtual reality for Oculus Rift, several independent shorts, and is a member of Wayes Entertainment: an all-female production company exploring the parody between modern gender roles in society. In her “spare time” Reem is developing a social media app with her sister, runs a blog documenting young Hollywood lifestyle and networking (www.HauteMafioso.com), and volunteers through local organizations.7 Articles

    Stephanie has over 25 years sales and marketing experience and has led over 36 successful new media, commerce and mobile technology product launches. She's the founder and Executive Producer of Mingle Media TV Network, an online media and digital entertainment company and YouTube partner producing and curating live and scripted web series.     Brea Grant is a writer/director/actress best known for acting in “Heroes” and “Dexter” and for writing/directing the apocalyptic feature, “Best Friends Forever”. She is currently a producer on the Emmy-nominated Netflix series “EastSiders”. Her other writing/producing credits include the series “The Real Housewives of Horror” for Nerdist and several comic books including “We Will Bury You”, a 1920s zombie series, and “The Suicide Girls”, based on the popular website. She recently directed the short “Feminist Campfire Stories” which won the Audience Favorite Award at the Women in Comedy Film Festival. She just completed shooting a feature she wrote, produced and starred in called “I Can’t Be Trusted with Time Travel”.     Caitlin Gallogly is a working Los Angeles actor, best known for voicing "Princess Kenny" on Comedy Central's South Park.     Jackie Perez is a military brat turned engineer turned filmmaker. After five years of Naval service she left active duty and started a new career in the industry where she currently works as an assistant at Perfect Storm Entertainment and writes and directs short films in her free time. She is on advisory board for of Veterans in Film and Television, a graduate of the WGA Foundation Veterans Writing program, the founder of CAA Vets, and a Lieutenant in the Navy Reserves. Starting fall 2015 she will be pursuing a MFA in TV and Screenwriting through Stephens College and can’t wait to make her first feature film. She loves horror movies, has an environmental engineering degree from MIT, tries to travel outside the country once a year, plays the banjo, and has the most adorable hedgehog named Pickle.6 Articles

    Silvana Gargione is a New Jersey-born, Emerson College-educated, and Meisner-trained actor and comedic improviser. She is also a walking stereotype - a 1st generation Italian-American, she grew up working in her family's restaurant and convincing everyone that her family wasn't in the mafia (seriously though, they're not). In June 2012, she authored and published her first non-fiction children's book about the 1000 islands region of upstate New York, St Lawrence ABCs. Silvana has been involved in a variety of independent projects, as well as generously contributes her legit chops to the advancement of America's commerce (see: books commercials on the regular). She keeps a large vegetable garden year-round, and can pickle, saute, roast, or stew anything she grows. Her religion is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.6 Articles

    Brittany Nicole is a public relations professional representing entertainment, production, post-production, visual effects and virtual reality companies at Press Kitchen PR in Santa Monica, Calif. A USC graduate, she worked with Dr. Stacy Smith at the USC Annenberg School for Communication in media effects research, studying the effects of gender and sexuality in the film industry. This is where she discovered her passion for advancing the cause of women in entertainment. After graduation, Brittany Nicole worked in PR for the city of West Hollywood, a Downtown LA nonprofit and three major automotive companies before venturing into the scary yet exciting world of entertainment. In her free time, she runs a fashion blog, Diaries of a Domestic Diva, which focuses on accessible fashion, LA bars and restaurants and crafts/recipes.     Cat Doughty has a BFA in Art and Technical Theatre from Whitworth University. After moving to New Mexico in 2007, Cat joined a group of passionate independent filmmakers called Black Shepherd Productions. As part of the Black Shepherd team, Cat has been a writer, a producer and nearly everything in between.
