Actor/Producer - A Native of São Paulo, Brazil, Groppa migrated to the US with her family at the age of 9. After studying Theater at the University of Central Florida, Groppa relocated to Los Angeles to continue her studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. While studying the dramatic arts, she discovered her love for what goes on behind the camera. In 2010, Groppa produced a six week run of the stage comedy "Spike Heels" in Los Angeles' Theater 68. Thanks to her successes on stage, Groppa became an integral part raising capital and managing the day-to-day operations for the 2011 indie thriller BRAKE (Stephen Dorff). Carolina most recently appeared on screen in director Jose Prendes feature THE HAUNTING OF WHALEY HOUSE. In addition to continuing her work in front of the camera, Carolina has produced several short films including DONOR directed by Mark Gantt, recent recipient of Indie Cinema Serie's BEST OF THE BEST award. As well as the sci-fi thriller THE TASTE OF COPPER (Scott Haze). With Carolina's focus now on producing feature length content, she's currently and excitedly working on the documentary AUTISM IN LOVE, which explores how adults on the autism spectrum fall in love and manage romantic relationships. She continues to use her worldly perspective and keen dramatic sensibilities to support unique voices that tell imaginative, captivating stories.
