Erin Brown is a comic, host, actress, writer, and producer who appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Fox’s Good Day NY, and the front pages of Funny Or Die, Blip.tv, and Comedy Central’s Atom.com. She has interviewed numerous celebrities for her award winning series, “Hot on the Red Carpet”, including Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Garry Marshall, Richard Dreyfuss, Jason Ritter, Kathy Griffin, and Lewis Black. Erin is a regular contributor to the popular website www.hellogiggles.com as well as a frequent guest on many podcasts including Kelly Carlin’s “Waking from the American Dream”. Most recently she co-created and produced the international corporate comedy training series “Cutting Edge Communication” and was published in the book “That Time of the Month.” Erin began her comedy at age three in front of the bathroom mirror doing impressions of Jimmy Carter for her imaginary friend Billy Butler.

It’s that time of year already. I’m not talking about last minute Christmas shopping and New Year’s Eve planning. I’m talking about awards season! Many nominations have already been announced, but did you know that the shows have already begun? The Women’s Image Awards, the first show of the awards season, took place Wednesday at the historic Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club. Happy Labor Day folks! Hope you are all enjoying a fantastic long weekend. Mine was the perfect balance of fun and relaxation.  A big highlight was catching the opening of the new film Afternoon Delight written and directed by award-winning Jill Soloway (Six Feet Under, United States of Tara).  The film marks Jill’s feature directorial debut.
