Casey Gates is an emerging writer and director, creating and spotlighting original, female-driven work through her digital initiative #LadyBrain. In 2016 she received a BlogHer Voice of the Year Award for her mission-statement film “What Is Lady Brain?”. She went on to co-write and direct Girl Code which premiered at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival “Women in Cinema” block and also received the Best Short Screenwriting award at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival. By day, Casey works as a Social Media Producer on set with several NBC shows such as The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Maytal Gilboa is the CEO of Emet Entertainment, a management, production, and comic book publishing company focused on breaking new female talent into the Entertainment industry. Leonora Anzaldua is an artist-camerawoman-actor. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Yale University, where photographer Gregrory Crewdson and media scholar Brian Herrera were among her most influential teachers. She earned her MFA at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. She is a proud recipient of the SUN Cinematography Award for women. Leonora’s credits include narrative, documentary, and commercial work. She enjoys film cameras; the smell of emulsion; exploring interesting characters; practicing yoga; and teaching her little dog to do tricks.1 Articles


Shanice Kamminga is a Dutch director and screenwriter that fell in love with movies at an early age. Moving to Los Angeles in 2013 to initially focus on acting, Shanice wrote, acted in and co-produced a short film named If. The film got a theatrical release in Dutch arthouse theaters and made Shanice realize she wanted make rather than act in films. She started writing screenplays and submitted one of them - a war mosaic named Toy Soldiers - to The Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship, where it became a semi-finalist in 2016. In 2017 Shanice started directing professionally, and wrote and directed big corporate films as well as commercials, working for clients like Philips, KPMG and Dutch giants KPN and FrieslandCampina. She also wrote, produced and directed a trailer for her low-budget sci-fi drama Long Gone and is developing the feature version as well her screenplay Hollandywood: a fantastical dramedy based on her own experiences as a small town European in Hollywood.1 Articles


Steph Kaliner is a comedy writer in Toronto. She's worked on Canadian sitcoms like "Almost Heroes", "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil" and "Mr. D". She's also the head writer and co-creator of the web series "Versus Valerie". Steph has been doing live comedy performances (stand-up and improv) in Toronto since 2007. Miley Yamamoto (pronounced Meelay) hails from sunny Southern California and started dipping her toes into acting during her teens. She wanted to learn more about her family and background so she moved to Tokyo for a couple of years(and may or may not have started up a singing career). After coming back to LA, she struggled against the lack of diversity in the industry and was prompted by her close friends to start writing and directing her own projects. Alaskan-born Beth Dewey began her cinematic career working for B-movie legend Roger Corman. As a picture editor, Dewey went on to earn three primetime Emmy nominations for her work on the Oscars. Tweeked, her first feature as writer/director, won Best Actress at the Brussels Independent Film Festival and was nominated for a Prism award. Dewey recently premiered Erasing Eden, her third feature, which was met with favorable reviews. Currently at work on an upcoming female action movie with creative partner Justo Diaz, Dewey strives to create complex female characters and tell original stories that reflect the modern female experience.1 Articles


Allison's motto is "Make it Happen". Since moving to Los Angeles from North Carolina, Allison has been involved in projects as an actor, writer, director, producer, and resident tea drinker. Her recent short film "Black Widow: Origins" got rave reviews from Movie Pilot News and is touring the country with Geek Film Fest. Last February she completed her first feature, "Banging Lanie", as producer/director/lead. She most recently worked on the romantic comedy "Fame-Ish" which was all filmed during a real anime convention. Allison is an avid runner and just completed her first 50 mile trail run.1 Articles
