Screenwriter. Director. Feminist. with a splash of bourbon. Shannon Bowen is inspired to write strong female characters who (shockingly) have loyal lady friends because she has been surrounded by badass women all of her life. Shannon’s first feature-length script, CHICK FLICK (co-written with Ellen Westberg), is a female buddy comedy that has been optioned by Dirty Monty Productions. Also, her second feature-length screenplay, Diamonds Aren’t Forever (co-written with Brandi Sperry) is a heist film with a group of kickass lady friends. Check out the first two episodes of web series, Cost of Living, which is about failing adulthood and the friends that buy you whiskey.1 Articles

2 Hopeful Spinsters is the brainchild of Heather Olt and Dellany Peace. Being single women in their 30’s, they are quite aware that they are beyond the average marrying age, which currently stands at 27 in the U.S. Between the 2 of them, they’ve been in 13 weddings. They get it. However, they would NEVER have called themselves spinsters. Spinsters are 150, have 9,000 cats, wear the same muumuu every day, watch soaps non-stop, and have resigned themselves to the fact that they will always be single. “We are NOT spinsters. We are simply 2 confident women that have not yet decided when or if we want to settle down to marry and procreate.” Or so they thought...until the day Heather was cast as a “hopeful spinster” on the comedy Up All Night. Later that day, Heather & Dellany met for coffee, where Heather exclaimed, "am I REALLY a Spinster?" Dellany replied, "I dunno. Let's look it up.” She quickly Googled it and happily said, "I'm a spinster TOO!" They looked at each other and... EUREKA! They realized that...even though they ARE spinsters...at least they can be hopeful! Thus, 2 Hopeful Spinsters was born.1 Articles

I am Sandra, an actress, filmmaker, entrepreneur and I need to do it all to be happy. I love to create projects that I am truly passionate about, there is no greater thrill and satisfaction. I thrive to work with people who share my obsession of acting, producing and directing. I am all about sharing great ideas AND making them happen. In 2011 "just" making movies and acting wasn't enough for my already full plate, so I followed my heart and created an International Film Festival in my home town of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Mallorca is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean and it just felt right do 'go for it' and see what happens. Since the first festival in 2012, Evolution has grown every year at a pace i could have never imagined. Embraced by the European and International independent movie scene it has flourishing in all aspects, becoming the new hip film event for innovative and provocative upcoming creative filmmakers from all around the world.1 Articles
